My Sephora Favorites

It’s every girl’s favorite time of the year – the Beauty Insider Event a.k.a the Sephora Sale!  This sale happens twice a year – once in the spring and once in the winter before Christmas.  Sephora offers a discounts for all Beauty Insiders for a weekend and two weekends for VIB Rouge members, like myself. 🙂  It is the perfect time to stock up on your favorites as well as purchase some new goodies.

The exclusive sale for VIB Rouge members begins this weekend, April 13-15.  The sale opens for all Beauty Insiders begins next weekend, April 20th-23rd.  I’ve had my cart ready for about a week now and I hit checkout with the quickness this morning!  I honestly can’t be in a Sephora store when the sale is going on because it just gets SO crowded and it gives me anxiety.  It overwhelms me and I can’t think straight, haha!  At least online, I can browse on my couch comfortably and have my items delivered to my door!

Being a VIB Rouge member, a lot of my money goes to Sephora and therefore, I have a long list of favorite products.  I thought I would share some in case you are looking to try something new but aren’t sure what to buy!  Here are a few of my favorite things 🙂 and why I love/recommend them:

Laneige Lip Sleeping MaskLaniege Lip Mask: If you follow me on Instagram, you know I have been obsessed with this product for almost a year now and I still can’t stop talking about it!  I apply this lip mask every night before bed and wake up with the most hydrated and softest lips ever!  I even use it as a lip balm sometimes because it has a soft, lightweight balm texture.  Believe the hype – it is that good!

MUFE Artist Liquid MatteMakeup Forever Artist Liquid Matte Lipstick: MUFE first started out with five nude shades and recently expanded the color range!  This liquid lipstick formula honestly outshines others on the market.  I always have a few shades in my make-up bag and I usually am wearing a MUFE lippie if not a Tarte or Anastasia lippie.  This formula does not dry out the lips as one of the key ingredients is avocado oil, to nourish the lips.  It is matte and long wearing.  I don’t find myself having to reapply throughout the day, which I love!  I definitely recommend this liquid lipstick.

GrandeLashGrandeLASH Lash Enhancing Serum: If you’re hesitant about eyelash extensions, I recommend this serum.  I have always been self conscious about my lashes simply because without mascara, they’re non-existent.  After using this product for a few months, my lashes grew longer, thicker and fuller to the point where people were asking me if I got extensions.  This serum is honestly worth the price because it truly works!

Hourglass Veil PrimerHourglass Veil Mineral Primer: Hourglass should honestly sponsor me with how many of my friends I have put on to this primer!  It is my holy grail!  This is a great primer for oily and combo skin.  This primer has a soft and silky texture.  It works well with just about every foundation I’ve used and honestly keeps my make-up in place for hours! I’ve come home after a night of dancing and my make-up still looks great!

Too Faced Better than SexToo Faced Better than Sex Mascara:  I have been using this mascara for as long as I can remember and it is hands down my favorite.  It lengthens and defines each lash for full and plump lashes!

Sephora Coconut WipesSephora Collection Cleansing & Exfoliating Wipes: My favorite go-to makeup removing wipes.  They successfully get everything off with drying out the skin or burning the eyes.  I always buy the Coconut Wipes because I love anything coconut and they smell so good!

Marc Jacobs Dew DropsMarc Jacobs Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter: A little bit goes a long way with this highlighter.  If you love being extra with your highlight, this is the product for you!  The gel goes on so smooth and blends into the skin so well without rubbing off your foundation.  It applies great with either fingers or a brush for a vibrant but natural glow.

NARS Soft Matte ConcealerNARS Soft Matte Concealer:  I own this concealer in two shades – one that matches my skin tone to conceal and a lighter shade to highlight under my eyes.  This concealer is very lightweight with amazing coverage and a soft matte finish.  It honestly doesn’t even look like you’re wearing concealer.  I’m thinking of getting a darker shade to use for contouring.

Too Faced Chocolate Soleil BronzerToo Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer: This is literally the only bronzer I use and have been using since college.  First of all, it smells like yummy chocolate!  This bronzer blends really well, doesn’t have orangey tones and looks natural on the skin.  Also, it looks liked Too Faced has also updated the packaging, which makes me even more obsessed with this product!  Try it! You will love this bronzer!

Farmacy SPFFarmacy Green Screen Environmental Protector Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30:  This non-greasy sunscreen kills two birds with one stone.  Not only does it protect skin from sun exposure, it also shields skin from environmental factors, like pollution associated with skin aging.  I mean, does it get any better than that!?  I love that this sunscreen doesn’t smell like sunscreen, it doesn’t leave a white cast and isn’t heavy.

Kiehls Deep Pore MaskKiehl’s Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Mask: This is by far my favorite clay mask.  It does a great job of removing dirt, oil and toxins that clog pores to help skin become clearer.  My skin has never looked healthier after using this mask.  I’ve noticed a decrease in my blackheads and a shrinkage in my pores.  If you struggle with clogged pores or have combo-oily skin, I definitely recommend this mask!

Shiseido Facial CottonShiseido Facial Cotton: These are my absolute favorite cotton pads for applying toners and removing eye makeup.  They are soft, good quality and don’t absorb as much of the product as a regular cotton ball does.  The pack of 165 usually lasts me between three to four months.

I hope you guys decide to check out some of these products!  If you do, let me know!  What are you hoping to pick up from the Sephora sale?! Let me know in the comments below!
